My name is Andy Potter. Milk Hill has occupied a special place in my heart for many years. The range of hills, of which it is a part, is a favourite venue for walkers and enthusiasts of the ancient and magical landscape of Wiltshire. In the last couple of decades the fields below Milk Hill have played host to some magnificent crop circle formations and drawn many eager crop circle enthusiasts from all over the world.

My own special interest in Milk Hill was ignited in 2001 when I began hearing other people's stories of their personal strange encounters with phenomena. One story in particular at that time had a profound impact upon me. The individual in question shall remain anonymous to protect his privacy; I'll call him Joe for convenience.

I had known Joe for a couple of years before this incident which totally changed his life. Joe had been a military man all of his life and was not given over to wild fantasy. I spotted Joe one day sitting in a garden with his head in his hands. I asked someone we mutually knew what was wrong with him. The person replied that they didn't know but that something had happened and Joe wasn't talking to anyone. I sat opposite Joe and just looked at him. He looked up at me and, to my surprise, said "You know what has happened don't you". Something led me simply to say "What have you seen?" he went on to describe how he had gone for a walk on Milk Hill the previous evening and two light orbs appeared in front of him. Joe described how a portal of somekind opened up and he interacted with some kind of interdimensional intelligence. I asked him if he was scared. "No, it was beautiful," he replied with a big smile on his face.

In correlating Joe's story with other stories I have heard, plus my own experience, I know that there is something very special about Milk Hill and the surrounding landscape.

I had the idea of producing this website following my experiences on the 8th August 2008 when Lucy Pringle rang me and asked if I would pop down to have a look at the beautiful figure of eight infinity formation. This led to several heart warming days of meeting some amazing people and sharing stories of experiences with crop circles. I would love to hear from anyone else who has had experiences with light orbs or interraction with intelligences which they would like to share. I will be adding short articles to MilkHill.com and your story could be in one of them.
